Talk to an attorney about your car accident

December 2, 2014 by Jonathan Stein

If you have been involved in a car accident, talk to an attorney. It may be that you do not have a case, it may be that you can handle it yourself, or maybe you need to go to small claims court. But, you should always talk to an attorney.

An attorney can help  you evaluate your case. Do you need to hire someone? Can you settle this with the insurance company directly? Is small claims court your best case? Do you need a firm that specializes in something specific? You need answers to these questions.

An attorney can help you explain California’s fault system. Are you at fault? Are you partially at fault? What can you recover for damages? Finally, an attorney can help you understand your options.

Get a consultation – most of them are free. In fact, if an attorney wants to charge you for a consultation, then don’t go. Find a different attorney and get a free consultation on your personal injury case. Then, when you are informed, you can make a better decision for yourself!
