Here is a story from the Insurance Journal regarding insurance fraud. The NICB released its list of the top 10 cities with the most staged accident activity. And without further delay, here is the list:
1. Miami
2. Los Angeles
3. Houston
4. Chicago
5. Philadelphia
6. Tampa
7. Cleveland
8. Orlando
9. New York
10. Boston
Nothing on this list really surprises me. I still argue that insurance fraud is not as big a problem as the insurance industry wants you to believe. However, it is out there. And apparently it is at its worst in these cities.
Now keep an eye out on your surroundings, drive safely, and if you are concerned about someone driving near you, pull off and let them get past.
