It happened to me again today. I was talking to someone and I told them I am a trial lawyer. They wanted to talk about the McDonald’s coffee case. I was not an attorney when that case came down. Not sure I was even thinking about being an attorney when that case came down. So my standard response is “I was not in the courtroom. I did not hear the evidence and can make no judgment on what the jury did.”
